      Pop-Pop

Isaac Bernard Gottdenker was a warm and passionate man. A man who squeezed our hands and kissed our foreheads and lips with all the vigor he had for all the time he had. A man whose body began to deteriorate long before his strong, caring spirit needed freedom. A man who shared his frustration with me: "Ahhhh JS, its so hard! seeing without seeing... hearing without hearing", yet his spirit reached out to connect to our reality - to connect with us. He reached beyond that frustration, and he pounded the arm on the chair as he sqeezed my hand, grasping for the stimulation that his body could barely provide any longer. Pop-pop was full of love, but his body and its illusion of unconnectedness brought him sadness. Now he exists as pure love, spread out throughout the whole universe, a small essence in every tear-drop of air. I can taste his kisses and ask for his wisdom with each breath that I take. He no longer has to miss us, but
we won't stop missing him.

You have created a wonderful family B.G., we will always be with you and we can feel that you will always be with us!
